Heidi Grace, E-RYT 500
Heidi Grace inspires us to explore yoga as an applied lifestyle, making art with our lives and relaxing into our Divine Self. Through the dance of balancing the body, mind and spirit she guides us toward harmonizing our inner truth with our actions and experiences. Heidi Grace’s gentle and restorative approach to the yoga practice incorporates Ayurveda, energy work, flower essences, mantra, meditation, yantra painting, gemology, astrology and Yoga Nidra.
Heidi Grace received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica in 2009. She also has 108 hours of training in the heart oriented method of Anusara. Heidi became a SUP Certified Instructor in 2012 by Gillian Gibree and Kathryn McCann of Paddle into Fitness. In 2013, she completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Brenna Geehan and Jean Mazzei of SriYoga in San Francisco. It is Heidi’s vision to share the layers of yoga that will help individuals to exist in total freedom and truly experience LIVING YOGA.

Heidi Michelle first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1998 and has been teaching yoga since 2008. Initially inspired by Kundalini yoga, she soon discovered Baron Baptiste and Power yoga. Heidi’s teachers include Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea and Anand Mehrotra. She studied extensively with Elysabeth Williamson, creator and founder of Principle-Based Partner Yoga™, and has been teaching Partner Yoga since 2009, most recently leading Partner Yoga Teacher Trainings. As a personal development and awareness facilitator from 1995 to 2002, Heidi’s passion for empowering people emerged. She has been guiding, teaching, and leading, in one form or another, ever since. Offering retreats, workshops and trainings in the United States, India, Mexico and Costa Rica, her yogic teachings feature a dharma-rich, gently demanding Vinyasa-flow practice with an emphasis on yoga as a practice ground for life.

Nature Yoga Teacher Training 2018 will be held at Villa Diosas in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Tucked away in the jungle, visited daily by scarlet macaws, monkeys and an assortment of local wildlife, this slice of heaven is a stunning tropical retreat. With our personal chef, private pool, wrap around veranda and open-air living, you will be nurtured and secluded in order to devote your time and energies to the study and practice of yoga and the yogic lifestyle.
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND CURRICULUM
The Nature Yoga Teacher Training will teach you the fundamentals of yoga asana, philosophy, anatomy, physiology, and psychology. You will learn the benefits and function of asana, meditation, mantra, and pranayama in order to teach others effectively. In these 28 days of deep jungle immersion with an exceptional team of teachers and peers, you will explore techniques, discuss and learn yoga philosophy and practice teaching. In a supportive environment, you will be encouraged to develop your own teaching style, find your voice and come to understand what the practice of yoga means to you. Nature Yoga 300-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher Training
The 300-hour Nature Yoga Teacher Training will expand upon the fundamentals of yoga asana, philosophy, anatomy, physiology, and psychology. Each module will go in depth to explore your living yoga experience and continue to refine your Dharma.
